How to Win

In Durak you aim not to be left with cards when the deck runs out. The defender beats attacking cards with higher cards of the same suit or trump. Attack with low cards first to drain the defender’s strong cards. Save trumps for crucial moments. Track which cards have been played. If a suit is exhausted, any card of that suit can’t be beaten (except by trump). Attack in pairs or sets when possible to overload the defender. Defend with the lowest winning card to preserve stronger cards. Manage your trumps. Don’t waste them on weak attacks. Use trumps to beat high-value attacks or when the defender has few cards left. In the endgame, try to force the defender to take cards. Coordinate with teammates in team play. The goal is to run out of cards while your opponent holds them.
