Objective

Build four foundation piles in ascending order (Ace to King) by suit.

Setup

Seven tableau columns arranged like Klondike. All remaining cards are dealt face-up onto columns 2–7. There is no stock pile.

Gameplay

Foundations: Build A→K by suit.
Tableau: Build in descending order with alternating colors. You may move any face-up card together with all cards on top of it, regardless of their sequence.
Empty columns: Only Kings (or King-led stacks) can fill an empty column.

How to Win

Yukon Solitaire allows moving sequences as a block, which creates more flexibility than Klondike. You can move stacks of cards in descending order (alternating colors) in one move. Use this to quickly clear columns and expose face-down cards. Prioritize exposing the six face-down cards in each column. Once revealed, you can move them more freely. Build toward empty columns—they are crucial for reorganizing. Avoid covering low cards with high ones when you have alternatives. Build foundations steadily. Like Klondike, foundations free space. But Yukon’s block-moving rule means you can often shift entire columns. Look for moves that cascade: moving one sequence can unlock several others. Plan two or three moves ahead. The game rewards seeing how one move sets up the next.
